On the left is the first mantle I made in 2003 to house our electric fireplace. This is now in our spare room. On the right is the new mantle I built. In this mantle I also installed an electric fireplace and the added bonus of having drawers and a cabinet to house my laptop. I connected the laptop to our TV to make it a "smart TV".
Below is the hand built furniture currently in our home

Two Curio Cabinets
Custom Made Mail Box
The cabinet above was made approximately 25 years ago. It was a surprise Christmas present for Terrie. She has her collection of blown glass stored here. The cabinet on the left was made just a few years ago. It sits in our dining room and houses Terrie's collection of Precious Moments figurines. During the Christmas holiday Terrie removes these figurines and fills it with Precious Moments Christmas themed figurines and ornaments.
Fireplace Mantles

Nothing special. Just 2 matching nightstands for our guest bedroom (which was previously Jessica's bedroom!)
Guest Bedroom Nightstands

Welcome to our Home

While at an Arts & Craft Fair in Morro Bay, I saw a bird feeder that someone had made using a empty wine bottle and a golf ball. I improved on their design, using only golf tees to hold it all together. I made several. Some were given as gifts and I donated several to an associate's charity fundraiser that was held at a local winery. This one hangs in our backyard - unfortunately no birds found their way to it so I replaced the birdseed with red shiny rocks and a golf ball.
This cabinet held our TV and sat in our living room for many years - until we replaced it with a flatscreen that was mounted on the wall.
Then it made its way into our spare bedroom (previously Nicholas' room) where it sat in the corner allowing us additional TV time for a good many years.
In 2012, it was decided to re-do the spare room with the fireplace that was previously in the living room and another flat screen TV. The cabinet and TV made its way up to Reno to grace Nicholas' spare bedroom.

Master Bedroom Set
In 2013 I added to our bedroom set of dressers and a headboard with 2 new nightstands. Terrie's is on the left and mine is on the right. I left the bottom shelf off of my nightstand so Daisy has her very own special place to sleep (since she was kicked off the bed several months ago).
